The Carolina Patriots Cup will be played on September 4-6, 2026, at Mecklenburg County Regional Sportsplex featuring 12 full sized multi-purpose fields. Open to U8-U19 Boys and Girls teams. Bring your team for competitive games against teams from all over the East Coast!

The Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews has eleven multiuse fields featuring permanent lighting. Nine fields are synthetic turf and two fields are natural grass. The Sportsplex also offers a 5,000 capacity stadium with a natural grass field, public address system, lights, scoreboard, conference room and balcony overlooking the field, and locker rooms (home, away, and officials). The conference room can be used for meeting space, VIP space, team space, etc. With the ability to be professionally lined for soccer, football, lacrosse, and rugby, the Sportsplex Stadium is the premier athletic facility to host amateur, collegiate, and professional sporting events.
Playgrounds and 2 miles of paved trail are also amenities within this regional park.

Soccer Management Company (SMC) has managed tournaments since 2013. In 2026, SMC will run over 55+ different events across 15+ states, including the US Youth Soccer National Championship & WAGS Rael Vodicka Memorial Tournament. This SMC event has a Stay to Play policy for all attendees/groups in need of hotels. This is in order to ensure that the hotels, cities, and counties are assured that the discounts they offer are used.

No, you do not have to pay right when you register. At the end of registration, you will have the option to pay by credit card or pay by check. If you need time to collect money from your parents, choose to pay by check to reserve your spot and pay later. All payments must be completed by 10/24 to ensure your spot in this event.
